In short: deleting your account disables it straight away. You have 90 days to change your mind by signing in again. After 90 days your account and its data are deleted permanently.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open GoLiveHealthy and sign in.
- Tap your profile picture on the Home screen to open Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.
You are signed out and your account is disabled at once.
2. Delete your account without the app
If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We reply to confirm and disable your account within 7 days. The same 90-day period then applies.
We ask you to write from your account's address so that nobody else can delete your account. If you signed in with Google, use that Google account's email address.
3. What happens next
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Straight away | Your account is disabled and you are signed out. Data saved only on your phone (meal logs, grocery list, food preferences, reminders) is removed from that phone. |
| Days 1 to 90 | Your account stays disabled. Sign in again and tap Restore my account to cancel the deletion; everything on our servers comes back. |
| After 90 days | Your account and all the data listed below are permanently deleted from our servers, including your sign-in. This cannot be undone. |
4. What is deleted
- Account and sign-in: your GoLiveHealthy login (email and password, or the link to your Google account) and your email address.
- Health and body profile: height, weight, age, sex, activity level, goal, BMI and calorie target.
- Meal plans and grocery lists stored with your account.
- AI conversations: every chat with Hal, the AI guide, and its replies.
- Plan and usage records: your subscription level and how many AI tokens you used.
5. What is kept, and for how long
- Server backups and logs: copies of deleted data in encrypted backups, and log entries that contain your account ID, are removed as they expire, within 30 days of the permanent deletion.
- Purchase records: Google Play keeps its own records of subscriptions and payments under Google's policies. We never had your card details.
- Legal obligations: if the law requires us to keep specific information, we keep only that, only for as long as required.
Product information in our food database (barcodes, nutrition facts, photos of packs) is not personal data and is not affected.
6. Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → Subscriptions so you are not charged again.
